HERBAL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN POSITION JULY 2017

Zi Zai Dermatology is a natural skin care clinic & shoppe located in Fort Collins, Colorado.  We offer Chinese Medicine dermatology, cosmetic acupuncture, and therapeutic massage services in our patient clinic.  We have a very busy Chinese herbal pharmacy where we fill patient prescriptions.  In addition, we handcraft herbal skin care products to sell online and in our shoppe.  We currently need help in our herbal pharmacy and are hiring for a part time position. We have a caring and fun team and are looking for a person who will enjoy working in a natural healthcare setting.

We seek a responsible, trustworthy person with a strong work ethic to help process herbal prescriptions in our clinic pharmacy.  Our herbalist (me – Diana Hermann, the owner of Zi Zai Dermatology) will write the prescriptions, so herbal knowledge is not mandatory (but this surely would be a desirable learning experience for a TCM student).  The pharmacy tech would be responsible for weighing out raw herbs to fill the prescription, as well as cooking and packaging the herbs using our herb cooking machines and packaging machines.  We will train you to use this equipment, but mechanical skills or experience operating machinery would be a helpful qualification.  You will be working alongside other people, but this generally is not a very social situation.  There is very little customer service involved, so introverts may delight in this opportunity.
